SJA at JapanFest

JapanFest – an annual festival by George Washington University’s Japanese Culture Association took place amid cherry blossoms in full bloom on March 29 this year. The Fest was to showcase Japanese culture through some performances, booths, foods, and games. SJA put out a booth to introduce SJA activities and Origami. The students enjoyed folding cherry blossoms, Sakura-colored foldable kayaks (a miniature of Oru Kayak), etc. One anime fan made a special request to learn how to make Origami Pikachu.
